A skimmer helps provide cleaner and purer water with a higher visibility depth. The water surface is constantly cleaned and freed from impurities such as leaves, grasses, pollen, insects and the like, before these impurities sink to the pond´s bottom.

By use of a pump (not included) a thin film of water is absorbed, thus causing a flow towards the skimmer. With a pond surface of up to 40 m², the skimmer helps keep the surface clean. The flow rate is 8000-16000 l/ h. However, any coarse particles such as leaves or grasses have to be removed regularly in order to maintain the skimmer´s efficiency.

The stand of the surface cleaner for ponds is set on the pond´s bottom by means of stones. A cardan joint enables the adjustment of the suction device also in conditions of a slightly uneven ground.

Another outstanding advantage of this model is the adjustable height of the the collecting basket. The extendable tube can be set according to various pond depths.
